Commuting between his Downtown Indianapolis home and Broad Ripple office, Leif Hinterberger gets a daily eyeful of the neglected area on the west side of College Avenue at 49th Street. Lately, the picture is a bit easier on the eyes. One corner of the intersection sprouts a freshly renovated building. The other awaits a $12 million retail, office and condominium project.
